RPRT client Curren Caples has committed to a 2-year contract (terms undisclosed) with energy drink company Red Bull. Curren will be added to the company’s skate roster though Curren will also be included in surf related trips and appearances.
Curren will be attending a private training trip in early February to Lennox Heads, Australia with the surf team as his first Red Bull sanctioned event.

RPRT has closed a deal to include nine skaters in a new action sports trading card game called Super Heat. RPRT skaters will be featured in the collectible game’s first edition featuring top legends, pros and amateurs.
Coming off a co-hosting gig for the 2009 AMA’s, Jenni Pulos has been chosen again by Dick Clark Productions to co-host the red carpet for the upcoming Golden Globes.
RRPT’s ever growing skate roster just got stronger in the “who’s next” category. Flip Skateboard’s 15 year-old phenom Louie Lopez joins teammates Curren Caples, Mark Appleyard and Geoff Rowley on the RPRT roster. Louie also currently skates for Globe and Volcom.
Under undisclosed terms, Curren Caples is set to re-sign a deal with Hurley making them his exclusive clothing sponsor for the next 2 1/2 years. Curren has been part of the Hurley family since he was 7 and is stoked to continue his relationship.
RPRT snowboarder Pat Milbery just re-signed contracts for the 2010 season with sponsors Skull Candy and Von Zipper. Pat has been a long time team rider for both brands and is stoked we came to terms on a new deal with the headphones and eyewear sponsors.
Curren Caples filmed an episode of Fox Fuel’s Daily Habit last week to talk about his recent tour with the Flip Team, “Extremely Sorry” and some of his recent contest outings.
Coming off the success of his Extremely Sorry soundtrack release, BARON has been tapped by Slayer’s Dave Lombardo to produce his first solo album. The album will feature notable collaborations. BARON has been hard at work in the studio working with Dave, as well as some heavy hitters in the rock and rap worlds.
