The RPRT crew was up in San Francisco this last week for perhaps the best ever Dew Tour stop. Chad Kerley had a huge showing just missing the top spot in the first ever Dew Tour Street contest. He also got a solid 6th place in the gnarliest event ever seen at a contest, BMX streetstyle.

David Gonzalez came into skate street and streetstyle with his “bat out of hell” style and walked away with a 6th place in street and 5th in streetstyle.

Jeremiah Smith was nursing a horrible ankle injury but still rode in street and streetstyle and just missed the final for street.  Brian Kachinsky rode in street but spent the night prior in the hospital due to a bad viral infection.

The reign of terror continues for the pro BMX street rookie, Chad Kerley who took home a victory this weekend at the Texas Toast Jam in Austin, Texas. Chad is letting the BMX world know he is here in full force in 2012 and the guy to beat.

Next stop is the street contest at Dew Tour this week in San Francisco.

Street snow season is back and RPRT’s Ryan Paul is up to his usual antics: killing contests. Downtown Showdown in Seattle was this last weekend and Ryan wowed the crowd  and judges on the rails and in the air to nab a 3rd place finish.

Shane Borland’s “A Day with Shane Borland” edit has won the Maloof Money Cup video contest. Shane’s edit was submitted to the contest and won first prize which includes a showing of his video in over 500 US movie theaters who will be airing the MMC South Africa contest live.

Congrats Shano!!!

A huge win this last week at the Ride BMX Nora Cup Awards for Chad Kerley. Chad won the fan vote and nabbed the first ever “People’s Choice Rider of the Year” Award. Also nominated for Street Rider of the Year and Video Part of the Year, it was an amazing night for Chad considering this was his rookie year.

Looking forward to an incredible 2013 and 2012 isn’t even done yet. Next stop, S.F. Dew Tour!

Mark DellaGrotte has been tapped to work stunts on a fight scene for the Darren Aronofsky directed epic “Noah.” The film stars Russell Crowe and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Mark’s role in the Kevin James’ film “Here Comes The Boom” will be his first real film part. The film is out October 12th and Mark plays an MMA coach for Kevin’s character in the film.

Geoff Rowley has been announced to be in the first expansion pack, along with legend Steve Caballero, of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD which is available online only. Geoff is the only skater, besides Tony, to appear in every iteration of the game. The expansion pack should be out in a few weeks.

What might prove to be the most exciting action competition in years, The World Wingsuit League has announced the invite list to their inaugural race in Tianmen, China and RPRT flight clients Roberta Mancino and Jeb Corliss are both invited. Put on by Red Bull China, Jeb is being used as the face of the race. Roberta is the only female honored to be invited to compete. The races will take place in October and will be seen worldwide.

Nick Rozsa has joined ASP world tour contender Adriano De Souza on the surf team for Headhunter Sunscreen. Nick will be featured in several ads for the brand coming up and is stoked to be repping the best skin protection on the market for surfers.

Curren Caples went up to Montreal this last weekend and followed up his 2nd place win last year at the Empire Backyard Party with another 2nd and 1st in the best trick contest. Curren has been making his presence known in the pro contests this summer even though, at 16, he is still amateur.
