Amongst the best park skaters in the world, in the first Olympic qualifier ever for skateboarding, Keegan Palmer made the podium in 3rd place. Skaters came from all over the world to try and compete and get valuable qualifying points for 2020. Based on world rank, Keegan advanced straight to semi-finals where he put down a perfect first run to get a score high enough to advance him to 7th place. In finals, he faced the heaviest hitters in the world and came out swinging right out of the gates with a 75 point ride. That garnered him a score high enough to hold on to second place for most the contest. In the end he was edged out but stayed on the podium at 3rd.
Meet Keegan Palmer at Otter Pops Village 6/30 2 P.M. – Dew Tour 2018
Keegan Palmer will be at the Otter Pops Village during Dew Tour on Saturday 30th at 2 p.m. Come by the booth to meet Keegan and get his autograph and try the new coconut water Otter Pops while you are at it!
Dew Tour takes place from 6/29-7/1 and Keegan will be skating in the Team contest for Flip as well as the pro park contest.
Lopez 2nd in Street and 4th in Streetstyle at Dew Tour LA
Louie Lopez took LA by storm this weekend competing in both street and streetstyle competitions at Dew Tour this weekend. Held at the Ace Hotel, Dew Tour focused solely on skateboarding for this stop and Louie obliged the crowd with consistent and technical skating. Getting second place in street and fourth in streetstyle, Louie had a great showing and proved just how good of an all around skater he is.
Next stop is Street League in Newark, where Louie is filling in as first alternate for Bastien Salabanzi.
RPRT Podiums at Dew Tour Chicago with Kerley and Lopez
An amazing weekend of skate and BMX action went down in Chicago this weekend at Grant Park skatepark with RPRT clients making multiple podium visits. In skate, Louie Lopez barely missed the top spot with a flawless run in skate streetstyle garnering him a second place finish. In skate best session, Louie continued with incredible skating in an all out battle to get the third place trophy. In BMX, Chad Kerley dominated all three sections in BMX street best session for the win. In BMX streetstyle, Chad just missed the podium by quarter of a point, getting him 4th. Jeremiah Smith also had an awesome last run and landed in 7th.
Great times were had. Next stop for Dew Tour will be in Los Angeles and will only feature skate.
Kerley, Lopez Podium at Dew Tour Brooklyn
Chad Kerley and Louie Lopez showed up to Dew Tour’s first Brooklyn stop ever in full force. With his technical mastery, Chad Kerley got a second place finish in Street BMX and wound up just missing the podium in Streetstyle. Louie Lopez, came out banging with a consistent flow of tricks in each second earning him a third place win in Street Skate.
Jeremiah Smith and Brian Kachinsky also had solid showings and did RPRT proud in BMX Street and BMX Streetstyle.
