RPRT has been hired by T-Shirt collective Suburban Riot to handle public relations outreach and consult on brand development for pet project Dick Towel.
Dick Towel is a novelty product that was recently concepted as part of the plotline of an episode of cult TV hit “Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

RPRT client Johnny Strange was invited to speak this weekend at the Pledge 2 Protect conference in Washington D.C. Johnny spoke to hundreds of students and was given a standing ovation after his 7 minute speech.
In an upsetting and hard fought loss, Jorge Gurgel debuted in his first televised professional main event fight for Strikeforce on Showtime. Losing to undefeated local hero from Fresno, Billy Evangelista, Jorge showed why he is one of the most exciting fighters in MMA. Pursuing his opponent the entire fight, Billy won on points but Jorge definitely got in the better strikes and kicks leaving some to debate the outcome.

Pat Milbery has just committed to a new 2-year contract with helmet manufacturer Capix. Pat will continue to ride for the company and will have both a signature and pro model helmet.
Curren Caples had another big contest win this weekend, but not in skateboarding. While visiting in Kauai with his family, Curren came across a grom contest Volcom was putting on and decided to enter it. This was Curren’s first surf contest and after surfing in small blown out surf he came up with a first place victory over some hot Hawaiian local prospects. Congrats Curren!!!
RPRT client BARON recently produced an original score the FLIP Skateboards “Extremely Sorry” film. Baron collaborated with names like Lemmy(Motorhead), Warren G/Snoop, Jim Lindberg (Pennywise) and Dave Lombardo (Slayer) to create a highly charged and emotive soundscape. The album comes out 10/20 on Volcom Entertainment.
Jenni Pulos has been chosen by Dick Clark Productions to interview guests on the red carpet at the 2009 American Music Awards for ABC. Jenni will provide comic relief on the red carpet and will surely be giving some great commentary on the prestigious music event.
