Pro skater and RPRT client, Arto Saari, has launched another dimension of his career today. ArtoSaari.com showcases the skater as artist and highlights his second career as an accomplished photographer.

Featured on the site are skate, portrait, landscape and still life shots Arto has taken over the years.

Arto has been hired recently to shoot for companies like Hurley, Converse and CCS Mail Order.

Two sport wunderkind Shane Borland will no longer be repping the Volcom Stone and is now a surf and skate team rider for RVCA. The change will ensure Shane has support from a brand that encourages both his surfing and skating. Starting Jan. 1, Shane will be on the team!

After a banner year, Chad Kerley has agreed to re-sign for another year with BMX retailer Dan’s Comp. Chad will continue to work on the team video for Dan’s which is due to release in about a year.

Limited Edition Jeb Corliss tees have arrived and are for sale now. In partnership with RPRT, Jeb will offer 150 signed and numbered tees through eBay auction only. 15% of profits from the sales will go to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

RPRT BMX’s Jeremiah Smith and Brian Kachinsky are off tomorrow to the Middle East to do another tour with Bikes Over Baghdad. The group does BMX demos for our troops over in the warring regions of the Middle East. Brian and Jeremiah have done a previous tour and were part of a documentary that followed their journey.

RPRT has launched a new media humor media property called Walk O Shame Blog. Inspired by post Halloween “morning after” trots home, RPRT is hoping to create an online outlet that capitalizes on the humor of a good “walk of shame” picture.

Shane Borland has been chosen to be part of a web campaign for a new handheld game startup called MG. The spot will feature Shano surfing and skating in his backyard and talking about the game. The campaign will go live in about a month and will be produced by Venice production company World Wide Mind.
