Kerley Nabs 3rd in Dew Tour Street, 9th in Park

dew-tour-logoChad Kerley came up on a 3rd place finish in the Dew Tour street jam impressing the crowd with some highly technical tricks and smooth style on a very tight obstacle area. Also competing against the best park riders in the world, as a street rider, Chad finished 9th overall and was a crowd favorite due to his street influenced style and technical wizardry.

Brian Kachinsky killed rails as well in the street course but came up short. Jeremiah Smith was on the injured list and did not compete.

Kerley resigns with Bell Helmets

Caples Takes Silver in X Games Barcelona Super Park

ccxgamesesCurren wowed the audience in Barcelona this weekend with a first place finish in qualifiers and a silver medal in finals just losing the gold to Pedro Barros by a couple points. Style was definitely on the judges minds as they scored Curren high for landing tre flips and frontside flips where nobody else would have.

In BMX, Chad Kerley and Jeremiah Smith both made BMX Park finals but just missed the mark with a 4th and 6th place finish respectively.

David Gonzalez had to back out of X Games and Street League due to a death in the family but will be back for Munich.

Chad Kerley Latest Addition To GoPro Team

gopro-logoBMX wunderkind Chad Kerley is officially a GoPro athlete. Joining the ranks of other top RPRT athletes Jeb Corliss and Roberta Mancino, Chad’s name will be synonymous with GoPro’s coverage of street BMX.

With the proliferation of CK edits and footage as of late, it will be insane to see some POV action from him.

Ben Nordberg Signs with AYC

benesBen Nordberg has signed a two year deal with AYC apparel. What is AYC? What does it stand for? Who is behind it? Who is on the team? We can’t tell you yet but in July all will become apparent.

Ben is currently finishing his Berrics “Recruit” which comes out Saturday. He will be wearing some AYC gear so keep your eyes peeled.

Louie Lopez and Curren Caples Make Pro Debut At Tampa

Coming off a first and second place at their last amateur contest, Louie Lopez and Curren Caples made their pro debut alongside RPRT client and Flip team mate David Gonzalez. All three skaters ripped up the qualifiers with Curren ending off 7th and Louie 10th overall.

Though they didn’t make it out of the semi’s all three finished in the top 20 overall.
