Surfer Magazine, the “Bible of the Sport,” has added Tia Blanco to their infamous “Hot 100” for 2014. Tia was placed in the 18th spot and is definitely one to watch. Surfer “Hot 100” alums have consistently gone on to win contests, titles and championships all over the world.

Congrats Tia! We can’t wait to watch your meteoric rise.

Shano Borland went up to Santa Cruz for the NSSA Northwest division contest this weekend and wound up taking first place! Shano got some bomb sets and took the Northwest Open 5 win at the Hook.

RPRT has signed a multi-year deal with pre-teen bowl/vert/park ripper Keegan Palmer from the Gold Coast of Australia. Keegan has been turning heads both in skateboarding and surfing. He most recently got a wild card into the Australian Hurley Open Nike SB Classics Cup and finished 13th place out of 34 of the world’s top bowl skaters.

Keegan, also a sponsored free surfer, is supported by brands Hurley, Oakley, Nike and Pocket Pistols Skateboards.

Louie Lopez has committed to multi-year deal with Mob Grip and Ricta Wheels. Having been on the team for several years as an amateur, this is his first pro contract with the iconic brands.

Look for a Lopez pro wheel due out in summer of 2014.

Jeb Corliss will be attending and speaking at the upcoming We Day UK conference in London next week. He will be sharing his passions to over 12,000 UK youth and sharing the podium with such names as Al Gore, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Richard Branson, Birdy and many more.

RPRT booked surfer Anastasia Ashley recently for band Timeflies to shoot a music video in Hawaii. She spent several days chasing big surf for a video due out in a few weeks.

Also, Ben Nordberg was booked on a spot for French company SFR. Ben spent a week shooting in Mexico City with a French and Mexican crew starring in a spot set to premiere in a few weeks on MTV’s French channel.

Curren Caples has signed a multi year deal with Monster Energy Drink to be part of their already stacked skate team. Curren will be joining Ishod Wair, Shane O’Neill and Chris Cole (among others) as part of the squad.

As the new sponsors of X Games, Monster plans to promote Curren and his gold medal win last year in Munich.

RPRT is excited to announce that Tia Blanco has been welcomed on to the Reef team head to toe. Tia will be utilized in all Reef women’s campaigns, catalogs and editorial moving forward and will be used as the face of the women’s collection for apparel once it drops in 2015.

Tia will continue to wear Reef footwear as well and represent the brand for at least the next few years. Tia will be hands on in the development of the women’s collection and is excited to be a part of the brand’s first foray into outerwear.

Today Discovery Networks announced their big live event featuring Joby O’Gwyn, who will be climbing the summit and wingsuiting Mt. Everest in May. Jeb Corliss has been tapped as on air consultant/consigliere to his best friend and already has begun filming for the special.

The crew leaves for Everest in April and Jeb will be on hand to advise on safety and support for the project.

Chad Kerley has committed to another year to be part of the Dan’s Comp team. Dan’s Comp is the world’s largest BMX mail order and one of the best supporters of the sport. Recently the company release their monumental video “Roll Call” shot by Stu Johnson which premiered at the RPRT produced Bakery Secret Recipe contest. Chad Kerley had a full part in the video.
