Tia Blanco Takes Home GOLD!!!

picture-11Tia Blanco did it! Dominating the surf all week in Nicaragua, Tia has brought home the gold medal in the ISA World Surfing Games. Tia won every heat she entered (except one she got second because her board snapped) and showed everyone what a dominant performance looked like. The only member of Team USA to make the final and not have to surf in any repercharge heats, Tia surfed with power and style.

We are so proud of Tia and all she is accomplishing this year. Next stop for Tia is the Los Cabos Pro where she will hopefully get more points toward qualifying for the World Tour.

Keegan Palmer Signs with FCS Exclusively

fcs-pc7-tri-fin-setKeegan Palmer has committed to continue his relationship with Surf Hardware Inc. Keegan will move from the FCS and Gorilla Grip programs to exclusively surf FCS accessories. Keegan, known as one of the hottest up and coming skaters, is also surfing beyond his age level. FCS will be supporting Keegan with fins, board bags, leashes, traction and more.

Tsu.co To Sponsor Special Project With Roberta Mancino

tsu_logoHot new social media platform, TSU.co, has committed to collaborate with Roberta Mancino on a project that will involve wild crocodiles. The project will be done to raise awareness about the killing of the animals for their hides and Roberta will be traveling to Mexico to shoot a provocative fashion spread with the dangerous animals. TSU.co will give its over 5 million users a sneak peak look into the behind the scenes of the shoot and the final edit itself. The video will premiere on the platform and then be available through Roberta’s personal YouTube page.

Slated to shoot in mid-June, the program is slated to roll out in early July.

Blanco Wins Surfing America Prime in HB and Clinches Season Title

profile_199513265_75sq_1395112896Tia Blanco has done it again. Tia took a convincing win at the Surfing America Prime this last weekend in Huntington Beach, unofficially winning the season as well. Tia’s surfing has been next level and as a member of the USA Surf Team, Tia will be traveling to Nicaragua to compete in the World Surfing Games.

Awesome job Tia!

Jeremiah Smith Gets Third at Kia Extreme Games

10176091_693407790717681_3631378014422867703_nJeremiah Smith placed third in the Kia World Extreme Games in China last week. The course was tight and a solid set up of lines of hubbas, stairs, rails and banks. Miah used his ability to connect tech tricks to get on the podium and place third.

Roberta Mancino for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Campaign

The campaign highlights women athletes in their typical environs and show Roberta both jumping from a helicopter in Dubai and swimming with sharks in the Caribbean. Louie Lopez Cast in Vice/Annapurna’s “The Bad Batch”

Vice_LogoLouie Lopez has been cast as the role of “Chewy” for a joint Vice and Annapurna production of Ana Lily Amirpour’s “The Bad Batch.” Louie will join Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, Suki Waterhouse and Diego Luna in a dystopian love story about a cannibal society in the heart of Texas. Set to premiere at Cannes in 2016, this film will begin shooting in April, 2015.

Louie will be playing a trigger man that works for Keanu Reeve’s character. Louie will be shooting in May for the film.

Tia Blanco Chosen For USA Surf Team

picture-1Tia Blanco has been chosen by Surfing America to be part of the USA surf team which will be competing in the ISA World Surf Games in Nicaragua. The Games will take place in Popoyo, Nicaragua from May 31st – June 7th. Tia is one of two girls chosen for the team and will be helping Team USA secure a gold as they did in 2009.

Corliss and Mancino Sign On For Tahiti TV Project

At this time the details of the show are confidential however it will be filmed in May in Tahiti. More details on the project will be available soon. Tia Blanco Wins Ron Jon’s Pro Jr.

4d56dec6f6ba4ba8bf74f7c759c98ecb Tia Blanco was crowned champion at this year’s Ron Jon Pro Jr. in offshore 2-3 foot surf in Cocoa Beach, FLA. This victory gives Tia 1000 points and puts her as the front runner for the Pro Jr. tour in a bid to qualify for the WSL Junior Championships.

Super proud of Tia as she ventures to Taranaki next in New Zealand to compete there.
