Ryan Paul did it again. Ryan took Boston by storm this weekend winning Downtown Throwdown. The contest is snowboarding’s best urban contest. Ryan is the only person to have a hat trick and have won it three times.

Tia Blanco stars in a new music video called “Like You Do” by the Wheeland Brothers. With a vibe like Sublime mixed with Jack Johnson, the band chose Tia to be the star of their latest single as a follow up to using her for a previous video. The catchy tune is definitely a summer anthem and the video premiered today on The Surf Channel.

Brian Kachinsky has been pegged to shoot a web marketing piece for Mattel for their BoomCo. blasters product line. Brian will be a featured “Team Captain” in an online challenge for the brand. The project shoots in LA on 10/23.
Sony Action Cam has signed four RPRT athletes to their growing roster of POV camera athletes. Tia Blanco, Ryan Paul, Jeremiah Smith and Keegan Palmer will be joining the likes of Tony Hawk and Jeremy Jones as part of the ambassador program.
Expect new POV footage coming out from these four on a consistent basis.
The November issue of Harper’s Bazaar features a fashion spread with Roberta Mancino inspired by her GoPro x Cavalli viral video that dropped earlier in the year. Harper’s flew to Italy to have Noah Bahnson shoot Roberta in couture of the season as she jumped the cliffs of Brento.
The issue is in stores now and there will be a web video on the Harper’s site to accompany the issue soon.
Tia Blanco’s vegan capsule collection with Satine Creation has finally launched. The collection is a byproduct of months of back and forth between the designer and Tia. Tia and Marie worked tirelessly over email and through their photoshoot here in LA to bring about a collection inspired by nature, animals, the ocean and the California lifestyle.
The line will be available exclusively on the Satine website and partial proceeds will go towards PETA2.
Louie Lopez continues his podium visits by getting third this last weekend in South Africa at the Kimberly Diamond Cup. Louie made it to the semi’s against Tommy Fynn and barely lost in a heat filled with bangers. Louie consistently landed trick after trick and flowed the course with style.
