Lopez Gets Fourth at CPH Open

2099_900Louie Lopez had a great week at the always entertaining and non stop party that is CPH Open. Louie skated various events and wound up winning the jump ramp first place honors and fourth in street super final. Louie got second in the street semi’s just behind Nyjah Huston. Louie has become one of the most consistent pros out and is currently working on a new video part with Thrasher.

Ben Nordberg Shoots LifeProof Commercial

lifeproofBen Nordberg recently shot a commercial for the new LifeProof campaign which will air during X Games. Shot in San Diego the theme is all about action in the wet. Check out the spot here. Look for it to air in a month during X Games Austin broadcasts.

Keegan Palmer Signs With Sony Action Cam

shareKeegan Palmer has committed to a one year deal with Sony Action Cam. Previously Keegan worked with the brand on a loose basis and Sony opted to offer him a contract for 2016. Coming off injury, Keegan has been on a tear and will be skating in the Vans Park Series in Melbourne on April 16th.

Keegan Palmer Wins Bowlzilla Pro/AM

logo-bowlzillaThe very first ever Bowlzilla held on the Gold Coast was held this past weekend. In his first contest back since injuring his leg last summer, Keegan Palmer took the win in the open division. Being that it was held at his local spot, Keegan had an advantage in that he has been practicing lines there since he was small. Turning 13 this weekend as well added to the win to make it that much sweeter.

Keegan Palmer Inks Deal With Oakley

oakleyKeegan Palmer has committed to officially join the Oakley crew! Keegan has been on flow with Oakley Australia since he was super young. Now that he is almost into his teens, Oakley has given Keegan a contract and it’s official. Keegan will be exclusive for eyewear and will be sponsored for skate and surf.

Lopez Invited To X Games – Oslo

brandLouie Lopez had a stellar 2015. We just got word that Louie has been invited to skate in 2016 X Games in Oslo. This year the Winter Games will be adding skate street and Louie will be skating in the contest. This is Louie’s first X Games since he got hurt in 2014 and couldn’t compete.

Keegan Palmer Signs with Oakley Global

brandIt’s official! Keegan Palmer is off flow for Oakley and is now part of the team as an am. Repping the brand since day one, Keegan is stoked to be part of such an elite team of athletes. Keegan will be sponsored for skate but will also use Oakley products for surf.

Lopez 2nd in Street and 4th in Streetstyle at Dew Tour LA

DewTour-LA-LogoLouie Lopez took LA by storm this weekend competing in both street and streetstyle competitions at Dew Tour this weekend. Held at the Ace Hotel, Dew Tour focused solely on skateboarding for this stop and Louie obliged the crowd with consistent and technical skating. Getting second place in street and fourth in streetstyle, Louie had a great showing and proved just how good of an all around skater he is.

Next stop is Street League in Newark, where Louie is filling in as first alternate for Bastien Salabanzi.

Lopez Gets 2nd at Copenhagen

1046Louie Lopez was on fire in Copenhagen last week and took home 2nd place in the “Triangle” during the Copenhagen Pro. One of skateboarding’s most unique and fun contests, the boys at The Boardr put on a week of events that culminate in one street contest at the Triangle. Many called this some of the best skating they have ever seen Louie do in a contest.

Stoked for Louie and glad all the boys, including Arto and Nordberg, had a blast.
