Kerley Makes Forbes 30 Under 30

Forbes_logo_smallChad Kerley has been recognized by Forbes Magazine in their annual “30 Under 30″ list. Joining the likes of Nyjah Huston, Chloe Kim, Adam Rippon, Blake Griffin and more, Chad was recognized for being the only person (at the time of print) to defeat Garrett Reynolds in the X Games (twice).

Kerley Wins Gold at X Games MN

xgamesepsChad Kerley has done it again. This past weekend Chad had two flawless runs in the X Games Street BMX contest to take the top spot. Down to the wire, Chad’s last run one upped his previous tech mastery and it came down to the only man who was capable of removing Chad from the top spot – Garrett Reynolds (9 time Gold medal winner). Garrett had an amazing run but a late bauble led to his falling on the next trick giving CK the guaranteed win. In a complete display of sportsmanship, Chad immediately went to hug his idol and Garrett returned in helping Chad celebrate his second gold.

So hyped for you CK! Congrats to you and Garrett and to our friend Devon Smilie for their silver and bronze medals. All the riders were amazing to watch.

In skateboard park, Keegan Palmer made a go at his first pro X Games and wowed the crowd with his bag of tricks. Unfortunately he didn’t make a complete run but he definitely won the fans over with the maturity of his skill level given he was the youngest competitor in the field. Great job KP!!!

Kerley Gets 2nd at FISE

3376Chad Kerley turned up the heat in Montpelier, France this past week for the FISE World street BMX contest. This was the first time the action sports festival held a street BMX course. The competition was tight with Chad’s best friend Dennis getting first and Chad getting a close second with some amazing technical riding.

Jarren Barboza For Samsung/AT+T National Spot

logo-square-letterJarren Barboza recently was picked to shoot a national campaign for Samsung and AT+T. Shot entirely in Venice Beach, the spot features BMX and Skate athletes cruising various spots in the city.

Jarren was also recently tapped to shoot a major soft drink campaign with a big name basketball player attached. Due out any day!

Raiford Gets 3rd At Simple Session

Coming out at second place in qualifiers, Broc wound up securing 3rd place overall at this year’s Simple Session. The street contest is one of Europe’s most touted skate and BMX contests and riders from all over the world attend.

Great job Broc!

BMX Madman Broc Raiford Joins RPRT

IMG_9950Street BMX wizard Broc Raiford has signed on to the RPRT BMX squad. Known for his massive hops and big tricks, Broc is a great addition to the team. Broc’s creativity and ability to link tricks, combined with being able to bunny hop over four feet, has made him one of the most exciting street BMX athlete’s to watch. An X-Games bronze medalist, Broc has also won the first Vans Invitational.

In addition to riding BMX, Broc is an incredible artist who loves to skate and ride moto.

Kerley Wins Silver in X Games REAL BMX, Competes in X Street in July

o_-yTsXM_400x400Chad Kerley partnered up with filmer Christian Rigal for X Games’ “Real BMX” part. In a special which aired on ABC this past weekend, Chad Kerley was announced as the silver medal winner. Voted on by an esteemed panel of judges, Chad’s video blended street tech with part flow. You can watch his edit on the X Games website.

Look for Chad, along with skate phenom Keegan Palmer (his first appearance at X), to compete in X Games Minneapolis in Mid-July.

Kerley Re-Signs With Rockstar Energy

Kerley for the FDA at X Games

3015620Chad Kerley was booked by the FDA through X Games to be part of an anti-smoking project that will take place in the sponsor village at X Games Austin. Guests will be able to take selfies with a green screen interactive version of Chad and post the images to social media. As part of the interactive photo booth, several X Games athletes were chosen to be one of a handful of athletes that X Games goers could choose to take a pic with.
