Going into Tokyo 2020 Keegan Palmer has re-signed with long time sponsor Oakley and brought back old sponsor Boost Mobile AU for the year. Keegan will be exclusive for eyewear and cell services for thea 2020 season.

Lindsey Jacobellis Re-Signs Toyota

Lindsey Jacobellis has re-signed with long time sponsor and supporter of Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls, Toyota. LJ will continue to represent the mobility brand on the slopes and is excited to continue her relationship during the 2019/20 World Cup Season.

Keala Kennelly for Flex

Keala Kennelly has signed a new sponsor in feminine hygiene brand Flex. Keala has been using the products for months which make surfing big waves during her monthly way easier and more manageable.

Flex will be supporting Keala in her bid for a repeat WSL Big Wave title.

Kerley Gets Bronze at X Games

Chad Kerley added another bronze medal to his X Games collection this past weekend. Spending all week with a hurt foot and unable to practice, Chad was able to compete on the day of the competition and put down some signature technical runs. Chad linked a lot of manual combos to take a bronze while RPRT’s Broc Raiford got a respectable 7th place in his first X Games back since hurting his leg a year ago.

Palmer Gets 3rd at Dew Tour

Amongst the best park skaters in the world, in the first Olympic qualifier ever for skateboarding, Keegan Palmer made the podium in 3rd place. Skaters came from all over the world to try and compete and get valuable qualifying points for 2020. Based on world rank, Keegan advanced straight to semi-finals where he put down a perfect first run to get a score high enough to advance him to 7th place. In finals, he faced the heaviest hitters in the world and came out swinging right out of the gates with a 75 point ride. That garnered him a score high enough to hold on to second place for most the contest. In the end he was edged out but stayed on the podium at 3rd.

Christian Vera Inks Podcast Deal

Christian Vera has signed a deal to host her own podcast on the BLEAV Network. BLEAV is a network of podcasters that originally started in sports and has since branched out to cover all lifestyle topics. Christian will begin recording her show this summer and it will mirror the content she typically covers on a day-to-day basis for ABC’s “Right This Minute.”

Kerley Bronze’s X Games China

Chad Kerley rode a super tech run in Shanghai and brought home another piece of hardware to add to his collection. In the end Chad wound up with a bronze medal chasing Garrett Reynolds. Chad’s run of tech manuals, bar spins and fakie tricks were signature CK.

Raiford and Barboza Book National For Academy Sports

Broc Raiford and Jarren Barboza were both tapped to shoot a new campaign for sports retailer Academy Sports. Set to shoot in Orlando, the spot will air in summer and will feature both riding BMX.

Mancino For Nissan

Roberta Mancino recently starred and did stunts for the new national Nissan Leaf campaign. Produced by TBWA/Chiat Day for Nissan USA, the commercial features Roberta flying her wingsuit through downtown SF as well as driving the all-new electric Leaf.

Blanco Books Two Nationals

Tia Blanco was tapped for not one, but two, national spots this week. Details to be revealed later but one was for a car company and the other a large multinational company. Tia was picked by long time stunt coordinator Sean Graham (who happened to also work on the car commercial Roberta Mancino did the week prior) for both gigs.

Both spots involve surfing and will be out summer 2019.
