Palmer Gets 3rd at Dew Tour

Amongst the best park skaters in the world, in the first Olympic qualifier ever for skateboarding, Keegan Palmer made the podium in 3rd place. Skaters came from all over the world to try and compete and get valuable qualifying points for 2020. Based on world rank, Keegan advanced straight to semi-finals where he put down a perfect first run to get a score high enough to advance him to 7th place. In finals, he faced the heaviest hitters in the world and came out swinging right out of the gates with a 75 point ride. That garnered him a score high enough to hold on to second place for most the contest. In the end he was edged out but stayed on the podium at 3rd.

Christian Vera Inks Podcast Deal

Christian Vera has signed a deal to host her own podcast on the BLEAV Network. BLEAV is a network of podcasters that originally started in sports and has since branched out to cover all lifestyle topics. Christian will begin recording her show this summer and it will mirror the content she typically covers on a day-to-day basis for ABC’s “Right This Minute.”

Kerley Bronze’s X Games China

Chad Kerley rode a super tech run in Shanghai and brought home another piece of hardware to add to his collection. In the end Chad wound up with a bronze medal chasing Garrett Reynolds. Chad’s run of tech manuals, bar spins and fakie tricks were signature CK.
