Lopez Gets 2nd at Copenhagen

1046Louie Lopez was on fire in Copenhagen last week and took home 2nd place in the “Triangle” during the Copenhagen Pro. One of skateboarding’s most unique and fun contests, the boys at The Boardr put on a week of events that culminate in one street contest at the Triangle. Many called this some of the best skating they have ever seen Louie do in a contest.

Stoked for Louie and glad all the boys, including Arto and Nordberg, had a blast.

With a tight course with low rails and fun tranny, Louie should do really well at the event being held at USC’s Galen Center and airing on Fox Sports 1.

Best of luck Louie!

Blanco Gets Equal Third in NSSA Nationals

p1307734630-11Tia Blanco surfed dominant heats in NSSA Nationals this last week and made it all the way to semi’s. Unfortunately her heat didn’t serve up many contestable waves and she lost by a margin in a woman on woman heat with last year’s champ. This is Tia’s last NSSA event and rounds out an incredible junior career. With all the amazing finishes Tia has had in the 2015 season, she is now able to focus on her goal of qualifying for the World Tour.

Awesome job Tia. We are so proud of your accomplishments.
