Caples Gets Second and Wins Best Trick at Empire Backyard Party

Curren Caples went up to Montreal this last weekend and followed up his 2nd place win last year at the Empire Backyard Party with another 2nd and 1st in the best trick contest. Curren has been making his presence known in the pro contests this summer even though, at 16, he is still amateur.

Arto Saari Tapped To Shoot Curren Caples and Jay Adams For Hurley

Arto Saari has been making waves in the photo world as of late. His pictures have been showing up in magazines, at art shows and being bought for private collections. Arto has been tapped to shoot an iconic photo for Hurley of RPRT client Curren Caples and the legendary Jay Adams. The shoot will be used for Hurley ad campaigns and will be art directed by the influential C.R. Stecyk.

Nick Rozsa To Sign With FCS + Gorilla Grip

Nick Rozsa has agreed to terms of a multi-year deal with surf accessories leader FCS, which is also the parent company of Gorilla Grip. Nick will use their leashes, deck pads and board bags exclusively and is stoked to be a part of the elite team. Nick will have a signature deck pad out for Gorilla in early 2013.

Jeremiah Smith Joins the RPRT BMX Family

RPRT is more than stoked to announce the addition of park god Jeremiah Smith to the BMX roster. Jeremiah is coming off an amazing year with a silver medal at X Games Asia, 4th at Summer X Games and complete dominance at the Mongoose Jam held at Camp Woodward West. RPRT couldn’t be more stoked to have ‘Miah on the squad where he will fit nicely in with DC teammate Kelly Bolton and friends Brian Kachinsky and Chad Kerley.

Caples Takes Third Place at Coastal Carnage

In what was the gnarliest Coastal Carnage to date, the fans at the US Open of Surf got to witness some of the hardest charging bowl riding ever. Amidst the insanity of some of the fastest and frenzied skating seen, RPRT’s own Curren Caples used style and technical tricks to finesse his way into 3rd place. With his awesome frontside flips into the cradle and huge airs, Curren won the judges respect and the crowd’s hearts, as he is known to do. Until next year…
