Curren Caples for Rolling Stone & ESPN Magazine

Curren Caples has been on a media tear this month with full page features in both Rolling Stone and ESPN Magazine. In the latest issues, both present Curren as the “New Face of X” and discuss how he was the youngest competitor in the X Games last year. Curren can also be seen in the latest Los Angeles Magazine and will be doing interviews for Inside X Games, ESPN and LA Times during X Games week, to name a few.

Curren will be skating superpark next week at X Games 17 for his second time. Last year he just missed getting a medal with an admirable 4th place finish.

X Games take place July 28-31 at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles and airing on ESPN.

Jeb Corliss to Appear on ABC’s 20/20

Returning to the show’s “Superhuman’s” segment, Jeb Corliss will appear on ABC’s 20/20 this Friday evening at 10 pm. The segment will feature what Jeb is calling “his best jump ever” shot a few weeks ago in Europe.

Jeb is preparing for a big stunt to take place later in the summer in China.

Luan Oliveira Wins Relentless “Above The Line”

Continuing his dominance in Europe, Luan Oliveira took the top spot win at the Relentless Energy “Above The Line” contest at the Bright Tradeshow in Berlin this last weekend. Also skating in the contest, RPRT’s David Gonzalez finished with a 7th place final.

Roberta Mancino Shoots For Hello Kitty!

Roberta Mancino was chosen by famed fashion photographer Marco Glaviano to shoot a new pin-up campaign for Hello Kitty. The pictures will appear on a T-shirt series and will for sure bring tremendous sex appeal to the iconic Japanese cartoon character. No word yet on when to expect the product in stores.

Mark DellaGrotte has a small role as a car dealer in the latest Kevin James film “Zookeeper,” which is out today in theaters nationwide. Watch Mark make his big screen debut!

Mark has a large role in Kevin’s next film “Here Comes The Boom,” due out in Summer 2012.

Curren Caples to Re-Sign With Vans

Curren Caples has agreed to terms on a new 3 year shoe deal with Vans shoes which will take Curren into his pro career. Curren has been on the am program with Vans for over 3 years and is happy to continue to ride for the brand for the next 3.

Terms of the deal are undisclosed at this time.

Chad Kerley Goes Pro for Nike

Nike announced before the long weekend that its newest pro is RPRT client Chad Kerley. Already pro for Premium Bikes, Chad is gaining a lot of momentum and a few new deals are about to be announced.

Chad is prepping for the first stop in the Dew Tour, X Games (alternate) and filming for the 5th season of “Camp Woodward.”
